COVID-19 impacts on vehicle inspection services
Monday, 31 January 2022
The Department’s Vehicle Identity Assessment (VIDAS) facility at Lonsdale will remain closed this week due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 Omicron outbreak on staff availability.
However, the VIDAS facility at Naweena Road, Regency Park has now reopened after its closure last week. Customers attending the Regency Park office are asked to be patient as the centre is experiencing high demand and is operating on reduced staff.
It is hoped that the inspection facility at Lonsdale can be reopened next Wednesday, 9 February 2022.
The Department apologises for any inconvenience to customers affected by these closures.
