SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GULF ST VINCENT – PORT ADELAIDE RIVER – OUTER HARBOR MAINTENANCE DREDGING COMPLETE – LEAST DEPTHS ALONGSIDE ISSUED – INNER HARBOUR DREDGING COMMENCING
Former Notices No.41 of 2019 and No.29 of 2020
Mariners are advised that the maintenance dredging referred to in previous Notice No.29 of 2020 at Outer Harbor Berths 1, 2, 3 and 7 has now been completed and these Berths have been returned to their Gazetted Depths.
Following an investigation of the slumping that has occurred under the wharves at Outer Harbor Berths 1 and 2, a Least Depth Alongside (LDA) has been issued for Berth 1 of 10.8m and for Berth 2 of 10.0m. Note: These LDAs are limited to within 2 metres of the Water Front Alignment (WFA).
The maintenance dredging program will now relocate to the Inner Harbour of Port Adelaide adjacent to Berths 27, 29 and the No.3 Dock Turning Basin.
Mariners are advised to exercise caution in the vicinity.
