T2T - Works to complete anti-throw screen installation
Wednesday, 30 October 2019
Motorists are advised that a temporary partial closure of the lowered motorway is required to complete the installation of anti-throw screens on Port Road and the service bridge north of Port Road.
To minimise disturbance to peak hour traffic, these works will occur over three nights from Thursday, 31 October, to Saturday, 2 November, between 8pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Traffic restrictions are as follows:
- The lowered motorway will be closed to traffic between Hindmarsh Avenue and Pym Street.
- Motorists will be detoured to the South Road surface roads.
- There will be traffic restrictions on the Port Road Bridge.
Speed and lane restrictions will be in place while works are undertaken, with signage to alert road users to changes in traffic conditions.
Signage will also be in place to safely detour pedestrians and cyclists around the work sites.
Works will be managed to minimise disturbance as much as practically possible, however some minor noise can be expected.
For further information about these works, including the latest traffic arrangements, please visit www.t2talliance.com.au
