Safety bollards at Glenelg Primary School
Friday, 5 July 2019
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) will be improving pedestrian safety by installing safety bollards on the north-east side of Diagonal Road, Glenelg East, in front of Glenelg Primary School.
The project is scheduled to commence from Monday, 8 July and is expected to be completed by late July, weather permitting.
Works will be undertaken at night between 7pm and 6am, from Monday evening to Saturday morning each week in order to minimise traffic impacts.
All roads will remain open to traffic, with speed and lane restrictions in place while workers are on site.
The safety of workers and the general public is paramount, so please observe speed limits when travelling through work zones.
The $130,000 project is an election commitment from the South Australian Government.
