Temporary partial closure of Sturt Road
Tuesday, 18 September 2018
As part of the Darlington Upgrade Project, Sturt Road will be partially closed over two weekends for road reconstruction works.
Sturt Road between Birch Crescent and Main South Road
8pm Friday 21 September to 6am Monday 24 September
- The eastbound lanes of Sturt Road through the work area will be closed, with traffic shifted onto the westbound lanes.
- All movements will remain available at the junction of Birch Crescent and Sturt Road.
- All movements will remain available at the junction of Laffer Drive and Sturt Road.
- Maple Avenue will be temporarily closed.
- Local parking restrictions will apply.
Sturt Road between Main South Road and Sutton Road
8pm Friday 5 October 2018 until 6am Monday 8 October
- The eastbound lanes of Sturt Road through the work area will be closed, with traffic shifted onto the westbound lanes.
- All movements will remain available at the junction of Sutton Road and Sturt Road.
- Local parking restrictions will apply.
Speed restrictions will apply and road users are asked to use extra caution when workers are on site.
