Enhance your awareness and knowledge of road rules with free sessions from South Australia Police’s Road Safety Centre.
Located at West Beach, the award-winning centre is a leader in road safety education. The centre offers many types of education sessions tailored for different audiences. Here are a few examples.
Session name | Description |

A guide to obtaining your motorcycle licence | A two-hour session for those who want to or have just gotten their motorcycle learner’s permit. Includes a driving simulator and VR experience. |
Drive smart, stay safe: empowering older road users | A two-hour session to help anyone stay up to date with the road rules and assess your fitness to drive. |
Safer journeys together | A two-part session for learner drivers and their parents on road safety and changes to the road rules. Includes a driving simulator and VR experience. |
Australian Road Rules session | A two-hour session to refresh yourself on the fundamentals of our road rules. |
School holiday programs | A two-hour program for kids aged 5–8 and 9–12 years. Includes classroom-style learning and a practical element on the mock roadway. |
