About the project

Located within the City of Charles Sturt, West Lakes Boulevard provides an east-west link between Port Road and Military Road.

The West Lakes Boulevard road management plan (RMP) will identify opportunities in the short and medium term to improve the operations and safety of the road corridor for all users. The RMP will be developed in consultation with key stakeholders and the community.

What's happening

There is currently no funding committed beyond the development of the West Lakes Boulevard Road Management Plan. This planning work will help inform future funding considerations.

Community engagement

Thank you to all members of the community who gave feedback at our engagement sessions in October 2023.

Community and stakeholder engagement plays a key part in the successful development of this RMP. Local input will be used to:

• help us better understand the current challenges
• identify potential traffic management treatments.
