Prospect School Precinct Traffic Study

We are undertaking the Prospect Primary School Precinct Traffic Study in partnership with the City of Prospect.

The study will investigate pedestrian accessibility, safety, parking and traffic management around the streets and roads near Prospect Primary School and Rosary School in Prospect. It will work to better understand the current situation and concerns, as well as identify improvement opportunities.

The study area will include Gladstone Road, Burrage Place, Staples Court and Olive Street, in addition to Prospect Road and Braund Road in the vicinity of the schools.

A traffic consultant has now been engaged to complete this study.

Timing

We understand construction activities at Rosary School are having an impact on movements around the school so we’re planning to do the study in a staged approach to make sure our findings appropriately consider movement patterns when construction is finished (construction scheduled for completion in June 2024).

A preliminary report is expected to be completed in the second half of 2024.
