Tambelin Railway Station
Pedestrian Crossing Upgrade
The State Government has committed to improving passenger safety by upgrading Clark Road pedestrian Crossing at Tambelin Railway Station.
What’s happening:
Once complete, there will be improved accessibility to and around the Tambelin Railway Station platform with re-graded paths and ramps to the platforms.
The works will include:
- establishment of site compound;
- rail track works;
- demolition of the existing pedestrian mazeway; and
- construction of a new pedestrian mazeway.
When:
Saturday 13 July until Wednesday 17 July 2024
To allow these works to be safely undertaken, the pedestrian crossing will be temporarily closed from 1am Sunday 14 July until 4am Monday 15 July 2024.
Hours of operation:
Day Works: 7am - 7pm
Night Works: 7pm - 7am
How this affects you:
During the works, there will be some light spill and noise disruptions from time to time, but we'll do our best to keep the noise to a minimum.
A site compound will be established in the car park near the station.
There will be changes to traffic and pedestrian conditions to keep everyone safe while works are underway. Please follow traffic management directions while works are in progress.
