Main North Road Realignment via Anama Lane

The Main North Road Realignment was undertaken to upgrade Anama Lane along with Main North Road to improve safety and freight efficiently.  Works involved upgrading Anama Lane along with two other junctions along Main North Road, and a third junction upgrade on the Black Rock and Clare Road.  Anama Lane is located about 15 kilometres north of Clare and is a primary east-west thoroughfare for grain transport.

The realigned and upgrade road with provide a smoother ride and better cater for speeds of up to 100 km/h throughout the section of road, along with reducing both the potential for road crashes and travel time for road users.
