As part of the State Government’s election commitments, a Pocket Park has been constructed on the corner of Da Costa Avenue and Main North Road, adjacent to the intersection of Nottage Terrace and Main North Road. The project was delivered by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (the Department), returning open green space to the community.
Pocket Parks support a safer, connected and pleasant transport network that can enhance the lifestyle within the community. The pocket park will create safer connections through the space and provide a place to pause and connect.
The construction of the new pocket park is now complete and open to the public.
