Due to maintenance works, the Belair Line will be closed from the first service 10 January to last service 12 January 2022.
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport advises train services will not operate between Adelaide Railway Station and Belair Station during the temporary, full, weekday closure from 10 to 12 January 2022. However, rail substitute buses will operate.
This full closure of the Belair Line is required to undertake maintenance on the Pinera Bridge, essential works at Sleeps Hill Loop and level crossing works at Main Road, Blackwood.
The maintenance works form part of the $2.3 million, South Australian Government-funded Pinera Bridge Repainting Project.
The Main Road level crossing will be closed from 8pm, Monday 10 January to 5am, Wednesday 12 January 2022. Detours will be in place during these works for traffic and bus services. The 197X regular Adelaide Metro service and B1 sub bus route will be impacted.
