Reduced train services on all lines except Seaford and Tonsley
Thursday, 7 May 2020
Adelaide Metro wishes to advise that due to a mechanical issue identified on some rail carriages, there will be reduced services across all Adelaide Metro train lines until further notice with the exception of the Seaford and Tonsley lines.
From 4:15pm this afternoon, the following amended service plan will operate for train services on the Gawler, Outer Harbor, Grange and Belair lines:
- Gawler – rail services will run half hourly and to Gawler Central
- Grange – rail services will be replaced by substitute buses
- Outer Harbor – services will run half-hourly
- Belair – services will run half-hourly.
Rail carriage numbers will be reduced on some services.
The safety of our passengers is our number one priority. These measures are necessary to ensure that inspection and rectification of the mechanical issue can be undertaken.
We thank customers for their patience and apologises for any inconvenience.
