SOUTH AUSTRALIA – GREAT AUSTRALIAN BIGHT & SPENCER GULF – VHF EMERGENCY MARINE RADIO OUTAGES

Mariners are advised that there will be several outages affecting the Emergency Marine Radio Network (VHF Ch 16 and Ch 67) on Tuesday 7^th and Wednesday 8^th of June 2022.

The details of the outages are as follows:

Tuesday 7^th of June, Great Australian Bight, (Streaky Bay)

CH 16 0800-0930hrs
CH 67 0930-1100hrs

Wednesday 8th June, Coffin Bay, (Eyre Peninsular)

CH 16 0800-0930hrs
CH 67 0930-1100hrs

Wednesday 8th June, Spencer Gulf, (Tumby Bay)

CH 16 0900-1000hrs
CH 67 1030-1130hrs

Mariners are advised to use secondary means emergency communication when navigating in these areas during the outages.
