Fleurieu Connections

The Australian and South Australian governments have committed a total of $810 million to fund the Fleurieu Connections Main South Road and Victor Harbor Road duplication projects.

About the projects

The Fleurieu Connections Alliance is delivering these projects. The alliance is a consortium comprising CPB Contractors, Aurecon and GHD, with Sub-Alliance partners McMahon Services Australia and Tonkin, in association with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport.

These projects will result in safer and faster journeys for motorists and provide a vital boost for local tourism, communities and support hundreds of jobs each year during construction.

Main South Road Duplication Project – Stage 2

We are reaching the final stages of the planning process for Stage 2 of the Main South Road Duplication project. Early works, such as service relocations and accommodation works, are currently underway.

This project is expected to support approximately 245 full-time equivalent jobs over the construction period.
