This project forms part of the South Australian Rural Roads Safety Package.
What's happening
The new overtaking lanes will include:

- increased lane widths, alongside a 1.4m wide centreline treatment
- new pavement construction and surfacing
- construction of a new Weigh In Motion
- new audio tactile Line Marking
- roadside hazard protection.
Vegetation management
We understand that trees are highly valued by the community. The project has been carefully designed to minimise vegetation impacts as much as possible however removal of some trees and vegetation will be required throughout the construction.
