KEY FACTS:

184 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2014, compared with 183 during 2013.

80 people have been seriously injured in MARCH 2014.

51 serious injuries were males and 29 were females.

52 were vehicle occupants, 12 were motorcycle riders, 10 were pedestrians and 6 were cyclists.

In MARCH 2014, there were 34 serious injuries in the country and 46 in Adelaide.

Of the 69 serious injury crashes in MARCH 2014, 38 involved a single vehicle and 30 involved more than one vehicle.
65 crashes involved a single serious injury and 4 involved multiple serious injuries.
