ROAD CRASH SERIOUS INJURIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

683 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2012, compared with 840 during 2011.

62 people have been seriously injured in NOVEMBER 2012.

39 serious injuries were males and 23 were females.

37 were vehicle occupants, 13 were motorcycle riders, 6 were cyclists and 6 were pedestrians.

In NOVEMBER 2012, there were 29 serious injuries in the country and 33 in Adelaide.

Of the 54 serious injury crashes in NOVEMBER 2012, 34 involved a single vehicle and 20 involved more than one vehicle.
49 crashes involved a single serious injury and 5 involved multiple serious injuries.
