KEY FACTS:

371 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2013, compared with 373 during 2012.

48 people have been seriously injured in JUNE 2013.

30 serious injuries were males and 18 were females.

28 were vehicle occupants, 11 were pedestrians, 8 were motorcycle riders and 1 was a cyclist.

In JUNE 2013, there were 28 serious injuries in the country and 20 in Adelaide.

Of the 41 serious injury crashes in JUNE 2013, 25 involved a single vehicle and 16 involved more than one vehicle.
38 crashes involved a single serious injury and 3 involved multiple serious injuries.
