  • 777 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2013, compared with 761 during 2012.


  • 62 people have been seriously injured in DECEMBER 2013.


  • 38 serious injuries were males and 24 were females.


  • 42 were vehicle occupants, 8 were cyclists, 8 were motorcycle riders and 4 were pedestrians.
  • In DECEMBER 2013, there were 22 serious injuries in the country and 40 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 53 serious injury crashes in DECEMBER 2013, 26 involved a single vehicle and 27 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 48 crashes involved a single serious injury and 5 involved multiple serious injuries.
