KEY FACTS:
  • 715 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2020, compared with 833 during 2019.


  • 77 people have been seriously injured in DECEMBER 2020.


  • 49 serious injuries were males and 28 were females.


  • 39 were vehicle occupants, 21 were motorcycle riders, 10 were pedestrians and 7 were bicycle or e-scooter riders.


  • In DECEMBER 2020, there were 24 serious injuries in the country and 53 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 69 serious injury crashes in DECEMBER 2020, 33 involved a single vehicle and 36 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 63 crashes involved a single serious injury and 6 involved multiple serious injuries.
