ROAD FATALITIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:
  • 12 people have been killed on South Australian roads to date during 2016, compared with 17 during 2015.

 

  • 5 people have been killed to date in FEBRUARY 2016.

 

  • 3 fatalities were males and 2 were females.

 

  • 2 were motorcycle riders, 1 was a cyclist, 1 was a pedestrian and 1 was a vehicle occupant.

 

  • To date in FEBRUARY 2016, there was 1 fatality in the country and 4 in Adelaide.
  • Of the 5 fatal crashes to date in FEBRUARY 2016, 3 involved a single vehicle and 2 involved more than one vehicle.
  • All 5 crashes involved a single fatality.

 

  • The heavy vehicle fatal crash involved Bus/Scooter.

 

  • The utility_van fatal crash involved Utility_Van/Motorcycle.

 

  • The 2 motorcycle fatal crashes involved Utility_Van/Motorcycle, Bus/Scooter.
