ROAD CRASH SERIOUS INJURIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

141 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2021, compared with 135 during 2020.

80 people have been seriously injured in FEBRUARY 2021.

51 serious injuries were males and 29 were females.

48 were vehicle occupants, 21 were motorcycle riders, 8 were bicycle or e-scooter riders and 3 were pedestrians.

In FEBRUARY 2021, there were 18 serious injuries in the country and 62 in Adelaide.

Of the 62 serious injury crashes in FEBRUARY 2021, 29 involved a single vehicle and 33 involved more than one vehicle.
52 crashes involved a single serious injury and 10 involved multiple serious injuries.
