KEY FACTS:

367 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2012, compared with 473 during 2011.

42 people have been seriously injured in JUNE 2012.

28 serious injuries were males and 14 were females.

28 were vehicle occupants, 6 were motorcycle riders, 4 were cyclists and 4 were pedestrians.

In JUNE 2012, there were 19 serious injuries in the country and 23 in Adelaide.

Of the 33 serious injury crashes in JUNE 2012, 22 involved a single vehicle and 11 involved more than one vehicle.
28 crashes involved a single serious injury and 5 involved multiple serious injuries.
