ROAD CRASH SERIOUS INJURIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

430 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2020, compared with 515 during 2019.

48 people have been seriously injured in AUGUST 2020.

37 serious injuries were males and 11 were females.

26 were vehicle occupants, 12 were motorcycle riders, 7 were bicycle or e-scooter riders and 3 were pedestrians.

In AUGUST 2020, there were 19 serious injuries in the country and 29 in Adelaide.

Of the 41 serious injury crashes in AUGUST 2020, 24 involved a single vehicle and 17 involved more than one vehicle.
36 crashes involved a single serious injury and 5 involved multiple serious injuries.
