46 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2012, compared with 81 during 2011.

46 people have been seriously injured in JANUARY 2012.

33 serious injuries were males and 13 were females.

29 were vehicle occupants, 7 were motorcycle riders, 6 were cyclists and 4 were pedestrians.

In JANUARY 2012, there were 30 serious injuries in the country and 16 in Adelaide.

Of the 33 serious injury crashes in JANUARY 2012, 21 involved a single vehicle and 12 involved more than one vehicle.
29 crashes involved a single serious injury and 4 involved multiple serious injuries.
