KEY FACTS:

330 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2018, compared with 399 during 2017.

44 people have been seriously injured in JULY 2018.

25 serious injuries were males and 19 were females.

27 were vehicle occupants, 8 were motorcycle riders, 5 were pedestrians and 4 were cyclists.

In JULY 2018, there were 18 serious injuries in the country and 26 in Adelaide.

Of the 35 serious injury crashes in JULY 2018, 22 involved a single vehicle and 13 involved more than one vehicle.
26 crashes involved a single serious injury and 9 involved multiple serious injuries.
