KEY FACTS:

72 people have been killed on South Australian roads to date during 2012, compared with 83 during 2011.

8 people have been killed to date in SEPTEMBER 2012.

3 fatalities were males and 5 were females.

6 were vehicle occupants, 1 was a motorcycle rider and 1 was a pedestrian.

To date in SEPTEMBER 2012, there were 5 fatalities in the country and 3 in Adelaide.

Of the 8 fatal crashes to date in SEPTEMBER 2012, 5 involved a single vehicle and 3 involved more than one vehicle.
All 8 crashes involved a single fatality.

The heavy vehicle fatal crash involved Panel Van/Bdouble.

The 3 utility_van fatal crashes involved Panel Van/Bdouble, Station Wagon/Utility_Van/Motorcycle, Car Sedan/Panel Van.

The motorcycle fatal crash involved Station Wagon/Utility_Van/Motorcycle.
