KEY FACTS:
  • 644 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2016, compared with 697 during 2015.

  • 45 people have been seriously injured in NOVEMBER 2016.

  • 32 serious injuries were males and 13 were females.

  • 31 were vehicle occupants, 7 were pedestrians, 5 were motorcycle riders and 2 were cyclists.

  • In NOVEMBER 2016, there were 25 serious injuries in the country and 20 in Adelaide.

  • Of the 41 serious injury crashes in NOVEMBER 2016, 25 involved a single vehicle and 16 involved more than one vehicle.
  • 39 crashes involved a single serious injury and 2 involved multiple serious injuries.
