KEY FACTS:

37 people have been killed on South Australian roads to date during 2012, compared with 40 during 2011.

11 people have been killed to date in APRIL 2012.

8 fatalities were males and 3 were females.

7 were vehicle occupants, 2 were motorcycle riders and 2 were pedestrians.

To date in APRIL 2012, there were 4 fatalities in the country and 7 in Adelaide.

Of the 9 fatal crashes to date in APRIL 2012, 5 involved a single vehicle and 4 involved more than one vehicle.
7 crashes involved a single fatality and 2 involved multiple fatalities.

The heavy vehicle fatal crash involved Car Sedan/Truck.

The 2 utility_van fatal crashes involved Car Sedan/Panel Van/Utility_Van, Utility_Van/Tree/Pole - not Stobie.

The 2 motorcycle fatal crashes involved Car Other/Motorcycle, Car Other/Motorcycle/Motorcycle/Tree.
