KEY FACTS:
  • 252 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2015, compared with 253 during 2014.

  • 59 people have been seriously injured in APRIL 2015.

  • 41 serious injuries were males and 18 were females.

  • 41 were vehicle occupants, 8 were cyclists, 5 were motorcycle riders and 5 were pedestrians.

  • In APRIL 2015, there were 28 serious injuries in the country and 31 in Adelaide.

  • Of the 44 serious injury crashes in APRIL 2015, 28 involved a single vehicle and 16 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 36 crashes involved a single serious injury and 8 involved multiple serious injuries.
