KEY FACTS:

252 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2015, compared with 253 during 2014.

59 people have been seriously injured in APRIL 2015.

41 serious injuries were males and 18 were females.

41 were vehicle occupants, 8 were cyclists, 5 were motorcycle riders and 5 were pedestrians.

In APRIL 2015, there were 28 serious injuries in the country and 31 in Adelaide.

Of the 44 serious injury crashes in APRIL 2015, 28 involved a single vehicle and 16 involved more than one vehicle.
36 crashes involved a single serious injury and 8 involved multiple serious injuries.
